Her cartilage is a little bit wide so right now I am going to do a little bit of trim of the tip cartilage and we are going to leave 7 mm of cartilage here. That is what is important, how much cartilage we are going to leave behind. The natural size of her cartilage is about 9 mm and we are going to make it about 7 mm.
In the overall scheme of things, is this going to make a big difference? This will not make a big difference in the appearance of her nose because the small amount of cartilage that I am removing is minor in comparison to the thick nasal skin.
We have now completed the cephalic trim, which means remove a little bit of cartilage.
Our next step is to start to build the support of the cartilage in the tip and see what we can do in regard to making her tip look a little bit better.
