Middle-Eastern female unhappy with the size of her nose desiring a softer, buy natural appearance. She desires to keep her ethnicity.
Procedure: Open rhinoplasty, chin implant and submental liposuction.
Other Procedure:She had a lower Blepharoplasty with fat repositioning.
Comments: The 2 month postoperative photos show a natural appearance of her nose. This patient has vertically-oriented tip cartilages which put her at risk for nasal obstruction following reductive rhinoplasty. To prevent nasal obstruction, her tip cartilage was repositioned toward the nostrils. Vertically-oriented lower lateral cartilages is a common finding in rhinoplasty surgery and the surgeon needs to identify this type of cartilage prior to surgery in an order to prevent nasal obstruction.
