Eastern Indian female desiring a softer, yet natural nose. She also complains of nasal obstruction and a “weak” chin.
Procedure: Open rhinoplasty with reconstruction of the left middle vault of her nose with a spreader graft, bilateal lateral crural strut and rim grafts secondary to her vertically oriented lower lateral cartilages, columella strut, tip reduction, hump reduction, septoplasty, turbinoplasty and chin implant.
Comment: The after photos were taken at 5 months and at 2 years after her surgery. If tip reduction was performed alone without grafting, her external valve would collapse more and worsen her nasal obstruction. Her nose appears natural even though it still has more healing to do. The medium chin implant balanced her profile a bit more.
