PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:
PROCEDURE: Same with right middle turbinate concha bullosa.
FINDINGS: Native 5 mm lower lateral crura (LLC) scarred and contracted to upper lateral cartilages and concave left lower cartilage. Weak/ retracted rims left greater than right. Narrow left middle vault, caudal septum deviated to right with posterior septum deviated to left, external valve collapse, open roof deformity and over-rotated/under-projected thin skinned skeletonized nose.
COMMENT: This is a patient who wished to have her breathing improved and was unhappy with the appearance of her nose. Post-operative photos reveal a softer profile. The patient’s nostrils were made lower and suit her improved nose nicely. In addition, better breathing was reported. Patient continues to heal.
