Eastern Indian male desiring a less ethnic nose and to breathe better.
Procedure: Ethnic septorhinoplasty, turbinoplasty and goretex chin implant.
Bilateral spreader grafts, columellar strut, shortening of the caudal septum and tongue-in-groove suture to elevate medial crura, plumping grafts, osteotomies with hump removal, inter and transdomal suturing, and nasal sill (alar base reduction) were performed.
Comment: His 4 month postop photos reveal a softer, but yet healing nose. The chin is improved. The patient also breaths easier. His nose will continue to change (especially in the tip region) throughout the year.
