Female patient unhappy with her jowl and neck region following a facelift performed elsewhere. Her primary concern is her irregular tissue neck contour.
Procedure: Revision face and neck lift with malar fat pad elevation, SMAS to smile lines, platelet gel application and lower blepharoplasty (fat repositioning).
Comment: Overall, her 6 month and 1 year photos show an improved face and especially her neck region. No liposuction was performed since much of the irregularities were secondary to over-aggressive liposuction. Her playsma muscle was sutured together and the soft tissue around this region were freed up from the underlying muscle in an effort to soften this region. Additionally, her smile lines, midface, marionette lines and corners of the mouth are softened.
